CADS provide medically managed withdrawal support through 2 services.
- Community and home detox service (CHDS) which supports people at home or elsewhere in the community.
- The inpatient unit for people who need 24-hour medical supervision.

About the inpatient unit
CADS Medically managed withdrawal services in-patient unit is based in Auckland CBD. It has 10 private bedrooms each with its own air conditioning and heating and bathroom. There is a shared dining space, client lounge and group room, and a separate TV room. Private spaces are available where clients can meet their visitors.
