Cancer and Oncology Services

We provide medical oncology and chemotherapy clinics weekly Monday to Thursday. Throughout the month we also have many visiting specialists who conduct clinics in the department. They are generally from Palmerston North and include haematology, medical oncology and radiotherapy oncology.

Outpatient oncology clinics are also held in Hāwera Hospital monthly.

We also provide a cancer coordination service five days per week, which include a multi professional team of experts to assist patients through their cancer journey.
