South Taranaki Rural Health General Practice faulty phone alert
14 February 2023
An issue with the South Taranaki Rural Health General Practice’s phone system is causing difficulty for some patients.
The practice has identified an issue that is affecting some callers and is working to get it remedied, says Practice Manager Joanna Richards.
“We would also like to reassure our enrolled patients that we’re still providing health services and to let them know that there are several alternative ways to contact us,” says Richards.
“Patients can choose to use email, text, or use the MyIndici patient portal app to book appointments and arrange prescriptions.
“We recognise that this glitch may have inconvenienced some people, and we would like to apologise for this and thank them for their patience.”
Alternative ways to contact South Taranaki Rural Health General Practice include logging into the MyIndici patient portal app to send messages directly to the practice, or email requests to strhgp@tdhb.org.nz. This email is monitored from Monday to Friday. Alternatively, if the practice has sent a patient a reminder message or a text message, they can reply and the message will be received by the practice reception team.
