For health professionals
UPDATED: 24 January 2022
To play our part in protecting our patients, staff and wider communities at this time we have taken the decision to restrict our operations.
This means that whilst we are in Traffic Light Setting Red we are asking that urgent radiology studies must be appointment only.
There is no walk-in service unless discussed on the day with a radiologist. Patients will be rung by the department for an appointment.
Radiology services at the following Health Centres will be open with reduced bookings to allow for social distancing:
From Thursday 2 September: Stratford Health Centre
From Monday 6 September: Waitara and Stratford Health Centres
All urgent referrals must follow the same path, there is no walk in service while we are in Traffic Light Setting Orange.
We would like to remind everyone that whilst support people are allowed to come into the hospital, they are not able to come into the ultrasound rooms due to the DHB social distancing rules.
