The Physiotherapy Team

We have a broad skills base in our team, whose expertise range from sports rehabilitation, joint manipulation, orthopaedics, hand therapy, women’s health, orthotics, chronic pain, acupuncture, neurological rehabilitation, amputee rehabilitation and vestibular dysfunction.

Musculoskeletal Outpatients

We are an enthusiastic and diverse team, with a broad mix of skills and interests. Our expertise includes manual therapy and joint manipulation, sports rehabilitation, orthopaedics, women’s health, orthotics, chronic pain management and acupuncture. A number of our team currently have or are training towards postgraduate qualifications.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapists are registered physiotherapists and occupational therapists who have undertaken postgraduate study to specialise in the assessment and treatment of lower arm pathology. We commonly treat acute trauma, soft tissue injuries, tendon pathology, neuropathy, post-surgical, scar management and arthritic conditions. We also do vocational rehabilitation – work site assessments and return to work programmes for clients with upper limb injuries.

Rehabilitation Outpatient Services

The rehabilitation physiotherapy team covers the rehabilitation ward, intermediate care team, rehabilitation outpatients, community and falls prevention. We are a diverse team with specialist skills in neurological, amputee, older person and complex-multi trauma rehabilitation. We have senior staff members who are working towards or already have postgraduate qualifications. We hold ACC contracts for social rehabilitation assessments and training for independence services.

Respiratory Outpatients

The respiratory outpatient team members have experience treating acute and chronic respiratory conditions. One of our therapists is a registered BradCliff practitioner.
