Our mission - to provide quality library services for employees of Taranaki District Health Board and health professionals in the community.

The library, which was refurbished in 2007, is in the Education Centre on Level 3, alongside Human Resources Department.

TDHB Library supports the clinical, research and educational activities of all staff and health professionals in the community by providing state-of-the-art access to information.

The Library collects, disseminates and stores the traditional print formats of health sciences resources, facilitates access to electronic resources, provides reference and interlibrary services and end-user training in database searching.

Becoming a Registered user

Health professionals in the community may be eligible to become registered users of this library. Please complete the Community Outreach Library Membership Form. Access to some databases is restricted to users on site at Taranaki DHB. Apply to the librarians for the required passwords.

Library Hours

The library is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Community Outreach members may have access after hours by prior arrangement. An entry code number to the library is available from the librarians.
